Chanoyu - The Way of Tea

Often referred to in English as the Japanese tea ceremony. This contemplative and communal art form has been cultivated over centuries, refining both the physical movements and mental discipline required for each tea gathering.

Chair Yoga at The Library

The program is free and open to the public. Join in for this free chair yoga class in partnership with Yoga For Life Las Vegas. Chair Yoga is a class for adults of all levels and is done with the assistance of a chair.

Seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Computers for Beginners

Join in on the first Wednesday of every month in the Martindale-Brightwood Computer Lab as you’ll navigate the digital landscape together. The Indianapolis Public Library has carefully crafted this course for seniors and adult learners as they learn how to sign into computers, explore a computer's various functions, and learn online etiquette.

2026 Black Business Expo

The event will feature businesses and vendors who operate in the West Texas area. Patrons will have the opportunity to visit with, buy, book and network with registered vendors. Patrons will see some of their favs, while also being introduced to unknown businesses.
